distributor, and a sqeek

I notesed a sqeek at idle. Being one of curious nature I poped my hood in the hopes to disern the origin of the troubling noise. It sounded like a loose belt but I soon found that it was coming from the wrong side of the motor. It sounds like its coming from the distributor. there was a small oil leak coming from under the distributor. Is it posable that the sqeek is unrelated or is it cosed by a falty seal? any help would be appreteated.

Take off the distributor cap and look for red or rusty colored dust. If there's a lot of it, your distributor bearing is probably on it's way out. Worst case, the bearing can seize and stop the cam, causing the timing belt to break. Not too likely, but it has happened. Start shopping for a distributor sub-assembly.
As for the oil leaking, I believe there is some type of O-ring seal you can replace.

A "junkyard" distributor (Si) costs at least $85-$100.

scratched paint from guard rail, and a Big powered by honda sticker, a 9 foot spoler, a 3 foot spoler, and a nose spoler yellow paint, and 6 raceing stripes. Now I can go fast. ok I dont have any of those I guess I dont drive a race car
